(Tips for this recipe: Use your favorite type of meat!)
Ingredients
Steaks
-
4 oz of Luzbel's Lament salsa
-
Boneless rib-eye, New York strip, filet mignon, or flank steak
-
Salt and pepper to taste
Accompaniments (optional)
-
Potatoes
-
Sweet potatoes
-
Onions
Directions
Marinate the Steaks
-
Cut nicks into the steak, penetrating about halfway through the thickness, so the marinade permeates the meat.
-
Place the meat in a container and add Luzbel's Lament salsa.
-
Refrigerate for 1 hour.
Grill the Steaks
-
About 20 minutes before grilling, remove the steaks from the refrigerator and let sit, covered, at room temperature.
-
Heat your grill to high.
-
Place the steaks on the grill and cook until golden brown and slightly charred, 4 to 5 minutes. Flip and continue grilling: 3–5 minutes for medium-rare, 5–7 minutes for medium, or 8–10 minutes for medium-well.
-
Transfer to a cutting board and let rest for 5 minutes before slicing.
-
Brush any veggies on both sides with oil, season with salt and pepper, and grill alongside the steaks.
